No. No referral is required to book an appointment with Genesis Speech Pathology. You can contact us directly to schedule an assessment or consultation.
We support children from toddlers through to early adolescence, tailoring every assessment and therapy session to your child’s developmental stage and individual goals.
Sessions typically run for 45–60 minutes, depending on your child’s age, attention, and therapy goals. We’ll always recommend the right length for your family.
Our clinic is at 54 Nullarbor Avenue, Franklin ACT 2913. We provide in-clinic appointments, mobile visits to schools, day-cares, and homes, as well as telehealth services across the ACT.
Absolutely. We partner with parents and carers with practical strategies and coaching so progress continues well beyond each session.

Funding & rebates
We welcome Self-Managed and Plan-Managed NDIS participants.
You may be eligible for a Medicare rebate through a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plan or a Medicare M10 referral for eligible children with complex neurodevelopmental disorders or disabilities.
Please speak with your GP to determine your eligibility and obtain the appropriate referral before commencing services.
